It's all about the attitude.

Past few days taught me a lot. It teaches me that we Malaysians has no superiority than the others and so do the vice versa. But I'm still in dilemma on the attitude of some Malaysians treat the others especially the foreign workers. And, my words again, It's all about the attitude.

Here is the some example of attitude of some typical Malaysians towards the foreign workers.



The first one is when I encountered one of the Bangladeshi worker that who's going to transfer some money to his country( i'm working at the remittance company). But, he's asking the best currency before he do the transfer. Suddenly, there is one Malaysian came from the back and push that Bangladeshi worker aside while saying ,

"Kalau tak nak hantar, jangan banyak tanya !!" .
And that Malaysian straightaway cut the queue of that Bangladeshi to my counter. I was totally spechless at that time . That bangladeshi seems to be hurt inside and he just went away without talking much. I'm sorry for my people's attitude my dear brother.

The second one is the bus driver. I'm waiting for the buses going to KL after finish my work. And believe me, all of them is the foreign worker.
There's the bus en route to KL. All of us is queuing before embarking the bus. While we are queuing, there is another bus en route to different destination. Our bus driver did'nt even see that arriving bus route number and asking the rest of us to go that bus. We refused to take that other bus . It's simply because that bus is heading to different location. Without asking or seeing that other bus route number, our bus driver "barking" with the rude way towards all of us.

" Woi, pergilah naik bas satu lagi" ..
Without any hesitation, I answered that driver with the same intonation by saying that bus is heading to other location. And believe me, our bus driver just say,
" Ye ker".. Without any sorry word to the other fellow passengers for that rude way of talking.
Hey, they deserve it.

The next is the Malaysian passenger who refused to give empty seat beside him to the bangladeshi eventhough that he's asking for it since he's carrying some weight of groceries. Instead of giving him the seat, that Malaysian chase him by saying,

"Pergi lah cari tempat lain, dah lah kau banyak barang".

And I wonder, the reason why he want to take that seat because he's carrying couple of plastics of groceries. And of course it's burdening him in the moving bus if he dont sit. Such an arrogant citizen . You should buy your own Porsche so there will be no one that will compete with you.

Sometimes, the truth is bitter to be swallowed.
After more than 50 years of independence, our attitude depicts who we actually are.

After that period of time, we can see,

What has changed, what has'nt .
It's all about the attitude.
